• TWBS visit TVLP event on International Women’s Day

  On Wednesday 8th March, TWBS attended a TVLP event on International Women's Day at St. Mary's, Ascot.  On arrival we were greeted by over 200 girls and teachers welcoming us as the only group of boys on the campus.  They were certainly not phased at being outnumbered and held their ground well on topics they had little knowledge on. There were interesting presentations by inspirational women, such as Eleanor Drage and Lizzie Gaisman.

   

  The boys learnt a lot in a short space of time.  Ayaan Hussain was awarded star student for his bravery and courage in participating on the Plenary panel discussion, and Laksh Bajaj was also given Uno Animo points for spraying the most aftershave. This gave the pair of boys the desired outcome of being invited to eat their lunch with a table full of young ladies! All of the boys certainly seemed to enjoy their day.

• Ultimate Frisbee Junior Indoor Nationals – 4th, 5th March 2023

  The Windsor Wolves Ultimate Frisbee teams went to Wolverhampton last weekend to compete at the U17’s Ultimate Frisbee Junior Indoor Nationals. We entered four teams with three teams being formed mainly of Year

   

  9’s who were playing their first tournament. It’s a new record of TWBS fielding 37 pupils!
