It is essential that when the boys start their time at TWBS, that they are enabled to hit the ground running. It is for this reason we place a great deal of emphasis on the transition from middle school to secondary.

We have established links with all our feeder schools, and ensure that all relevant information is passed from the school to us when we meet with them to discuss the new intake, and more importantly, each boy as an individual. In doing this, we can allocate the boys into Houses we feel are most appropriate for them, and set them in curriculum classes which will challenge and extend the boys to ensure they make the best progress academically.

When the boys begin school in September, we are already in a position to provide any necessary extra support and provision should the boys require it. Given we have an in depth insight to the boys before we have even met most of them, we are extremely aware of each boys needs and individual requirements.
