The Link - Behaviour Support Unit
Learning - Inclusion - Nurture - Kindness
Our Vision
Early intervention and targeted support in a calm, safe and supportive environment, where students feel they belong, have purpose and can succeed in school and in life.
Our Approach
We provide a calm, consistent and caring learning environment, where every child feels safe, valued and understood and can work at a pace that feels comfortable to them.
Our school supports individual pathways, recognising that each learner’s journey is unique—from early emotional regulation through to GCSEs and preparation for their next steps in education, training or employment.
In The LINK, we take a therapeutic approach to education, focusing on rebuilding trust, developing resilience and nurturing positive relationships. This underpins everything we do, both in and beyond the classroom.
We work in close partnership with families, carers and external professionals to ensure each pupil receives the support they need to succeed.
Above all, we believe in every child’s right to belong, to learn and to thrive.
Our Ethos
Every child deserves a school that never gives up on them.
At The Windsor Boys’ School, we place relationships, trust and belonging at the heart of everything we do. We understand that behaviour is communication, and we support each pupil to move forward emotionally, socially and academically through a balance of structure, compassion and high expectations.
Our approach is trauma-informed, relational and restorative. We focus on rebuilding trust, nurturing resilience and supporting every child to feel ready to re-engage with education.
