Drama

Drama at TWBS is a growing department with GCSE numbers rising every year. Drama is taught in our purpose-built studio where students have access to a lighting rig and desk, brand new surround sound system, a moveable and buildable stage, props, and costumes galore as well as other professional theatre features. At TWBS we offer GCSE Drama with Eduqas and join with WGS to teach A Level Drama and Theatre Studies, also with Eduqas. We also work closely with the music department and collaborate on many extra-curricular performances, including our November Production, with our most recent being Disney’s The Little Mermaid. As well as this, we also produce a TWBS play each spring where students get to perform to an intimate audience in the Drama Studio. Our most recent production of HAMP saw our biggest audience ever.
