In last Friday’s sunshine, the Year 11 boys finally had their opportunity to take part in one of the House activities – Rugby, Table Tennis, Creative Writing, Invention or Art. It was also a suitably relaxed and different way to end the fortnight of mock examinations that the cohort had sat through, so was roundly welcomed by boys and staff alike!!

In rugby the matches were hotly contested and new talent unearthed (yes, you Leo Godwin, Peter Brant, Ben Pleace and Luke Phillips!!!) and the standard of rugby was superb. Ultimately Burnett were victorious over Ottrey in the final (winning three out of the four House Rugby events overall!!).

Burnett were truly the champion House for Year 11 as they romped to victory, in not only the rugby but also the Table Tennis, Creative Writing and Invention!! Only Warwick were able to claim a victory with a superb piece of Pointillism in Art, and even then Burnett finished in second place!!
