Final House Standings & Cock House Trophy

After a much disrupted school year, it is with a mixture of great pride and relief that our House programme of activities was able to run to completion this time around.

In 2019-2020 everything ran as normal until the end of March when schools went to online learning, bubbles were suddenly formed, teenage boys were taught how to wash their hands, but more so all the vital add-ons and extras that make a school so much more than a results machine had to stop.
In 2020-21 the impact of this was truly felt. Year 11 and Sixth Form had their Football competition in December, but it was not until May that the Year 11s were able to have more events put on for them as the pressure of TAGS and CAGS and the January-March lockdown was felt.
Year 12 were able to have their House events day this Wednesday to go along with their House Sports events last week and this. Bridge Building, Escape Room, Handball, Basketball, Rocket Building, Public Speaking, Rowing and Rugby were all missed this year.

However, especially for Year 9 & 10, Cross Country, Ultimate Frisbee, DT Invention, Art, Football, Creative Writing, Drama, Music, Hockey, Table Tennis, Dodgeball (Year 11), Quiz, Athletics, Softball, Cricket, Tennis, Chess (Year 11), Badminton (Year 11 & VI Form) and finally Tug-of-War HAVE managed to go ahead.

And so to the final standings:

5th BURGESS (212)

4th WARWICK (219)
