Cricket

As the cricket season draws to a close, it is worth reflecting on the outstanding achievements of some of our young cricketers after a summer which saw a number of personal milestones and great representative achievements.

Two of our cricketers achieved great things with Berkshire (coached by ex TWBS cricketer, Tom Lambert). Charlie Dunnett (pictured left), who left us in the summer, scored an incredible 300* for the Berkshire U18s, a team that went on to win the ‘double’ over the course of the season. Josh Jayasingh was also an ever present in this team, and scored an unbeaten 100 against Suffolk in the National Cup quarter final.

Tegh Banse (pictured right) also broke a club record for Stoke Green in a partnership of 385, scoring 200* in a league match, bringing up his 200 with a six off the last ball of the innings.

Congratulations to the boys on these achievements, and to all those who have played cricket over the course of the summer.
