Last week, the Senior Prefect team attended a student leadership conference at Slough & Eton College.

This event was run by the Thames Valley Learning Partnership and was attended by student leaders from all eight TVLP schools: Beechwood, Eton, Holyport, Langley, St Joseph’s and St Mary’s (as well as the host school – Slough & Eton – and ourselves, TWBS).

It was a brilliant day during which students from all schools worked together to understand more about student leadership and about community.

The best thing, from my perspective, was seeing so many students together, in person, at a conference hosted for them. In my opinion nothing beats face-to-face conversations!
