GCSE and vocational exams start from week commencing Thursday 7th May 2026 and finish on Friday 19 June 2026.

GCE (A Level) exams start from Monday 11 May 2026 and finish on Friday 19 June 2026.

Individual exam timetables for students taking public exams in Summer 2026 will be produced when all the GCSE, A Level and Vocational exam entries have been made – this usually happens April 2026.

In the meantime, please check the links below to the exam board websites for their May/June 2026 exam timetables. Exam dates might change closer to the exam period and as such you should only use these as a general guide. Non-exam assessments, such as foreign language speaking tests, may be set before this period as they are decided by each school.
