Athletics (Summer Term)

Athletics is a major sport for the boys and is one of the most successful sports in the summer term. Students in years 9 and 10 compete in both the local Knight Frank and District Championships as well as in the ESAA Track and Field Cup. Training occurs every Friday after school at TVAC and is perfect opportunity to give any event a try.

In recent years the school has won all local athletics competitions and will regularly qualify for the ESAA Track and Field Cup final, ranking the school in the top 12 on the country.

In addition to this, year in and year out, the school produces athletes that go on to represent Berkshire and gain medals at the English Schools, a stepping stone event for many international athletes.

The high achievement and success of TWBS athletics over recent years has really been highlight with some incredible performances and representative honours for past pupils. With several boys each year without fail reaching English Schools qualification while still pupils it is incredibly pleasing to see that so many of these boys and then staying committed to their sport and pushing themselves to compete at the very highest level.
